A wreath featuring a teddy bear hangs near the back of the broken boat. The Boats & Baits kiosk has garland on the counter and a wreath on the side. Santa hats, stockings, and garlands have spilled all over the jungle.

In one of the new scenes, this decorated boat has been overrun with monkeys. The shipping office is covered in decorations, including a small silver tree. The classic Magic Kingdom Jungle Cruise attraction has transformed into the Jingle Cruise for the holiday season at Walt Disney World. There is currently a 40-minute wait for the holiday attraction.

Disney's Jungle Cruise gets a Holiday makeover with Jingle Cruise, opening November 3

Bob worked on acrylic, nylon and orlon furs, tried all kind of dyes to see which would work on water animals, which would fade in the hot summer sun and which could withstand constant animation movements. The fur and feathers on audio animatronic birds and animals had to be constantly replaced because of the grease and wear and tear that ruin its Disney appearance. For the latest Disney Parks news and info, follow WDW News Today on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will begin on November 9 and take place on select nights through December 22.

It will take approximately two and a half million gallons of water to fill the river when the rehab is complete. The Decorating Department is giving Mother Nautre a little assist by completely rebuilding the rain forest section of the river and our Landscaping Department is doing a general rehab of the entire jungle area. The Jungle Cruise gnu, for example, has three types of hair on its face and all down its back. This doesn't even include the individual horsehairs that must be inserted with a needle into its ears, tail, eyelashes, etc. Bears, after being outfitted in fur, must be inserted with horsehair whiskers, earhair and rubber claws. The 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will begin on November 24.

The boathouse and beyond are decked out with merry décor that’s been mailed to the skippers or that they’ve created themselves. They’re even unwrapping a few holiday jokes to help everyone get in the spirit. Head to the Jungle Cruise ride now (sorry, the Jingle Cruise) to check out all the festive decor! And keep following DFB for more updates on the holidays in Disney World. Once we boarded and set off, the holiday decorations continued! The gorillas were enjoying some gifts at the campsite, and we love the touch of a Christmas wreath on the overturned car.

Storytellers will share winter traditions from all over the world. At night, celebrity narrators will host the Candlelight Processional. And Living With the Land will be aglow with Christmas lights. The first halves of the boat names have been covered to be turned into new seasonal names, like Icicle Irma.

The festive overlay adds holiday touches to the Jungle Cruise attraction and is available daily with your park ticket throughout the holiday season. Now that Halloween is over, Christmas decorations are appearing at Magic Kingdom. In Adventureland, Jungle Cruise has been transformed overnight into “Jingle Cruise,” a holiday version of the classic attraction. This year, the Jingle Cruise is a little different due to the new and altered scenes aboard the ride. While the human characters don’t have any additioanl holiday theming, the rhino does seem to have gotten into the food before running the safari group up the tree. For a detailed look at the “new” characters here, check out our earlier article.

No food or beverages are permitted to be brought onto the boat. When you purchase tickets online you will be sent an email with a confirmation number & barcode. The cruise returns to the Bahia Mar Yachting Center approximately 90 minutes after departure.

The undersides of most birds and the entire bodies of other birds are done in short fur material--the same material used for the former Mine Train marmots, six of which also decorate his office. Taking shortcuts such as these, some birds take little over an hour to attire. Being the first (and only) artificial taxidermist seemed to be quite a trial-and-error job for a while, but there really was little time for guessing with about 210 immediate unfurred and unfeathered customers. New materials had to be ordered and experimented with quickly.

Jungle Cruise is already one of the most popular attractions at Magic Kingdom, but the holiday overlay makes it extra enticing. If you’re planning on visiting this holiday season, pack your patience or a $100 bill to pay for your family to skip the line with Genie+. It’ll probably average somewhere between minutes this holiday season, with morning waits and very late night waits being below that average and midday waits exceeding it. Guests get their first glimpse of the holiday shenanigans that await as they approach the attraction.

As we make our way to the Nile River, we find our next holiday enhanced scene past the African Veldt and at the trapped safari scene. We didn’t notice any changes at the “Boats & Baits and Bites” beach, but the trashed camp scene is overflowing with gifts and holiday touches. We spotted a big sign wishing everyone a happy “gnu” year as well. The Cast Members are all in on the fun too, with festive, wreath-trimmed hats.

Beginning this year, a brand-new “Frozen”-inspired show called “Frozen Holiday Surprise” will be performed at Magic Kingdom, during regular park hours and during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The kiosk at the end of the ride has new Christmas decorations, like garlands, poinsettias, and a Santa figure. The boathouse and beyond are decked out with merry decor that's been mailed to the skippers or that they've created themselves. There are fun gags and theming throughout as you’d imagine from the skippers. You can see all of your favorite scenes with a holiday twist. Other new scenes include the explorers’ sunken boat (tough luck).

While the decor starts simple with multi-colored Christmas lights, there are some clever uses of materials in the courtyard in front of the attraction. We’ll start with way too many photos of the attraction signage, which includes garland and Christmas lights. Yesterday, the Jungle Cruise at Magic Kingdom was transformed into the “Jingle Cruise” for the holiday season. Though most of the attraction and queue was decorated, the “Jingle Cruise” signs were not updated until today. Guests looking for a dash of holiday cheer will be happy to learn that Jingle Cruise is returning to Magic Kingdom on November 3rd.

We have brought you amazing photos and first looks as Disney World transforms for the holidays, and it’s such a fun time of year as the parks get ready for the festive season. And, the live stream was extra special because it featured a ride on the newly refurbished Jungle Cruise attraction! As the ride has been refurbished with new scenes and jokes, guests have been able to check out the changes. The sign outside the attraction lets guests know that the holidays are here, as it’s wrapped in a garland with plenty of lights. Throughout the ride, many of the scenes have extra holiday props and decorations, like these Santa hats. Continuing the on-again, off-again nature of decorated scenes, we’ll go into a bit of a lull for the next 2.5 minutes or so.

The wreaths are made of palm fronds and pieces of wood that the skippers may have found during their excursions. Garlands and Christmas lights are wrapped around the Jungle Cruise sign, which has an “i” placed over the first “u” to turn it into Jingle Cruise. Moving on, we come across another scene that doesn’t have any specific props for the Jingle Cruise, but does have a number of reindeer. While the African rock python doesn’t have a festive bow-a necktie (yet), it is often mentioned in the Jingle Cruise spiel by skippers.

Parking will be $13.00 per vehicle and will need to pay for parking on the Jungle Queen Riverboat. There's a NEW roller coaster coming to Epic Universe in Universal Orlando, and we've got... Cast Members said there are still finishing touches being made before the ride officially opens on July 16th. After the ride, you can find some New Year’s Eve touches, including some resolutions from Skippers. The Mekong River and Trader Sam’s Lost & Found didn’t have any holiday enhancements.
